Student Assistant (HiWi) for software development and maintenance

The Computational Lithography and Optics Group of Fraunhofer IISB develops models and software for optical and EUV lithography. Our international team cooperates with worldwide leading companies and research institutes in the field of semiconductor lithography.

We are looking for a student assistant (HiWi) who supports us in the development, maintenance and test of simulation software for optical lithography. Areas of responsibility include

  • migration of software packages from Python 2 to Python 3,
  • development and execution of software test scripts,
  • building of software packages,
  • documentation.

    • We are looking for a student of computer science/software engineering or related area with strong programming skills, specifically in Python and C++. The ideal candidate has practical experience in the compilation of larger software packages and in the application of software development tools including SWIG and Anaconda.
